2017 Gift Guide!

2017 Gift Guide-2

Hello! Welcome Back and Happy Holiday’s! Regardless of what holiday you celebrate the season of giving is officially here and that can be really stressful! I know as I’ve gotten older it’s become harder to think of what to get people because everyone in my life just buys what they want for themselves, so I’ve come up with a list of things that I have personally used and love that I believe would be great to give someone as a gift. All of these items range in prices which is why I think they make great gifts because there’s something for those who are on a tight budget but also something there for those who want to really spoil their loved one and many things in between. I will be including prices of each product and links to exactly where you can purchase these items! Let’s get started!

Skin Care Christmas Tree Emoji

Purity Face Wash: $15- $56

Where to Buy: Ulta, Sephora, Qvc

Purity Face wash

The first gift on my gift guide is the Purity Made Simple face wash by Philosophy. There are many places to buy this and each retailer has varying prices, the prices I’ve listed are what it’s sold for at Sephora. This is my all time favorite face wash, it’s very gentle but it effectively washes off all your makeup. My eye’s are sensitive but I wear a lot of eye makeup so I need something that is really going to get rid of all of it and this cleanser is the only one I can really get into my eyes to throughly  remove all my mascara without it burning my eyes.

L’oreal Clear & Comfort Face Mask: $8.99-$12.99

Where to Buy: Ulta, Target

clear & comfort

This gift idea is more of a stocking stuffer and it is something I have talked about before. Honestly this is one of my favorite face masks, my skin feels incredible after I use it. I actually got it for my best friend as a birthday gift over the summer and she really enjoys it as well. It makes my skin feel really fresh and smooth and clear but doesn’t get overly tight like most clay masks do. One reason I don’t enjoy clay masks much is because they can be tough to apply and tough to remove but this one spreads out and washes off like a dream.

Ole Henriksen 3 Little Wonders Gift Set: $72.00

Where to Buy: Sephora

3 little wonders

This gift set is for those who are able to splurge a little bit because it is on the pricey side. You get three products from Ole Henriksen, Truth Serum which is more of a morning time serum, Sheer Transformation Moisturizer and Invigoration Night Transforming Gel.  My skin had never looked better when I used this set, I even asked for a new jar of the moisturizer for Christmas because I used mine all up!

Glamglow GravityMud: $79.00

Where to Buy: Sephora

I know this face mask is really pricy but it’s worth it (and if it helps they do have a smaller size for $24.00 and you get 0.5 oz.) I would recommend this for someone starting from their mid-20s and up because it is a firming treatment. I was a little skeptical at first but once I pulled it off (yes its a peel off mask) my skin actually did feel tighter and more plump. So if you have someone in your life who you know is insecure about the loss of firmness this gift is worth the splurge.

Hair Care! Christmas Tree Emoji

( quick little disclaimer, a lot if not all of these will be products I talked about in my current hair care routine, so I’m going to keep their descriptions really brief, but you can click here and read about them in a little more detail!)

It’s A 10 Silk Leave In: $22.64 – $43.26

Where to Buy: Ulta

it's a 10

I believe this gift idea would be great for someone who uses a lot of heat on their hair and someone who has dry hair. I currently use this myself and it helps me blow-out my hair silky smooth in minutes. This would be a great little add-on to a gift!

Sebastian Dark Oil: $48.00

Where to Buy: Ulta

Dark Oil Sebastian Professionals .jpg

I spoke about this in my current hair care routine so I will keep it short and simple. Yes, it’s expensive for a hair oil but oh my gosh I will put this on my hair after I’m done styling it as like a finishing step and I will get compliments on how good my hair looks all day. Putting oil in your hair is a good way to have some protection from the heat. It also helps cut down on the static in your hair, which I know my hair gets very staticky in the winter time. Also it smells great, just buy it either for yourself or a loved one… BUY IT!

Wet Brush: $11.99

Where to Buy: Ulta

Wet Brush

I honestly swear by my Wet Brush, whether you have thick or thin hair this brush is amazing. You won’t be ripping at your hair while brushing it which will in-turn cause less split ends less breakage and just overall healthier better looking hair. I will never go without this brush and I think it’s a great little gift for everyone because I mean come on, every brushes their hair.

Body Care!Christmas Tree Emoji

Comfort Gift Set: $32.50 – $35.00

Where to Buy: Bath & Body Works

Dream On

I love a lot of scents from Bath and Body Works but Comfort is one of my all time favorites. It’s a mixture of Vanilla and Patchouli and the perfect scent for the winter time. It’s a very warm scent that as the name suggest, make you feel very cozy. in this gift set you get a sleep mask, a body butter and a pillow mist. This would be the perfect gift for any homebody. (like myself)

Neutrogena Body Oil: $9.99

Where to Buy: Ulta

Neutrogena Body Oil .jpg

With the colder weather here, that means drier air is here and hot showers last a bit longer… all things that equal our skin being drier. A body oil is something that just feel a little more luxurious than a normal body lotion. This particular one skins into the skin quickly but leaves your skin feeling hydrated. Honestly, I’m about to go out and buy myself a new bottle because I love it so much!

Body Scrub: $16.50

Where to Buy: Bath & Body Work

Winter Candy Apple Body Scrub

Along with the last product I suggested, this is also a great product for the drier weather to help get rid of all the dry skin that we are inevitably gonna get. This is my favorite holiday scent from Bath and Body Works but they have a bunch scent that you can choose from.

Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation: $36.00

Where to Buy: Sephora

Too Faced

If you haven’t read my review on this product ( you can read it here) then you probably don’t know that I love this foundation. It’s the only one I have worn since I bought it over a month ago. This is the perfect foundation to get someone who has a lot of holiday events coming up because of how well it wears and how well it photographs.

Modern Renaissance Palette: $42.00

Where to Buy: Ulta

Modern Renaissance

This palette is only one that I think everyone should own. It’s beautifully pigmented, blends well and can create a lot of beautiful looks. It was the first palette in a while that actually inspired me to create new looks. I’ve had it for a while and it’s still one of my absolute favorites.

Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Palette: $38.00

Where to Buy: Morphe Brushes

Jaclyn Hill Palette .jpg

Another palette that I recommend to everyone is the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette. This is also a beautiful palette, you have everything you need to do a natural look and then it also provides you with your pops of colors. The shades are incredibly pigmented and they blend beautifully for the price point.

Candles: $24.50

Where to Buy: Bath & Body Works

Candles are a great gift to get someone, my favorite candles are from Bath and Body Works. They have a bunch of scents to choose from and they really smell up the whole house, I’m currently burning Winter Candy Apple and it’s filling my home with such a beautiful Christmas scent

Ugg Slippers: $84.95

Where to Buy: Nordstrom

Ugg Slippers

This gift is a little more on the pricey side but worth every penny. I have had these Ugg Slippers for two maybe even three years and they are still my favorite thing I own. I am constantly wearing them, I even wear them to the store. They are the coziest slippers I’ve own but since they are open-backed they don’t make your feet too hot.

Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black Gift Set: $225.00

Where to Buy: Sephora

Nirvana Black Gift Set

This is the priciest gift on the list, I would recommend this for someone who really loves the Nirvana Black scent that you really want to spoil. This is my favorite perfume, I actually own the candle that comes in this scent and it really does make your room smell just like the perfume. I understand this is a large expensive gift but what better time to really spoil your loved one then at the holiday season.

All of these are gifts that I think would be great to give, I think you can find something for both men and woman of all ages. I really hope you find something that you can either suggest for yourself or pick up for someone you love or hell even buy for yourself because YOU DESERVE IT! Leave me a comment of the top thing on your holiday wish list! Thank you for reading. I hope you all have an amazing holiday filled with so much love and joy.. Until next time,
