Hello! Welcome Back! I wanted to give a little update before I jump right into today’s post. If you’ve been following me you may have noticed that there has been a bit of a name change here. I’m really excited to introduce Simply Michelle. With Simply Michelle I want to expand on the topics that I feature here, I’ll still of course talk about beauty and makeup because I’m a girly girl and I love talking about all that stuff but it’s not the only thing I love hence the change. Whether you’re new or not please be sure to tell your friends they can now find me at simplymich.com☺️. Okay now that that’s out of the way lets get into what today’s post is about.
Since it is currently snowing where I am and will be until the late evening hours I started thinking about where I’d rather be right now and that is either England or Paris. I haven’t done much traveling in my lifetime, but I have always wanted to. The farthest I’ve ever been was to the Bahamas nearly 8 years ago. Now that I’m older traveling is something I really want to make time for but seeing as I’m not financially able to at the moment I’ll have to settle for writing about my Dream travel destinations.
For about the past five or six years I have wanted to go to England, I watch a lot of British youtuber’s and that has really made me want to visit England. I love that you can so quickly go from a big city, to quiet country side to serene beaches. I think it would be a nice well rounded place to visit. I can be a bit of a nerd and the historical aspect of it as well would be something really interesting to me. Of course I’d hit all the major tourist attractions like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and The London Eye. I would also love to visit the Brighton Beach Huts, I think the bright colors of them are so fun and from the photos I’ve seen I love how each one is unique. I’m big on aesthetics as I’m sure you’ll come to know and I think the aesthetics of England are top notch. Along with aesthetics I’m also all about comfort and coziness, and there’s something about England that gives me that feeling of comfort even though I’ve never been there. I don’t think I would feel out of place there. Not to mention, every British person has made me jealous of Nando’s and I have had serious FOMO for years not knowing what all the hype is about.
This destination may seem basic, but I am basic so it fits. I want to go to Paris so badly. It seems like one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I can just imagine sitting in a Paris cafe around christmas time and seeing the streets lined with string lights (be still my beating heart.) I would love to see the Eiffel Tower in person and all the beautiful buildings like The Louvre and The Arc de Triomphe. Exploring all the other beauty that Paris has to offer besides the obvious tourist attractions would also be exciting. I studied French for 4 years in high school and while I don’t think I remember anything it would be fun to see if I actually do remember something. It’s also a plus that my name is french and I’m sure it sounds beautiful spoken in an authentic French accent. I have expensive taste and I could pass out just THINKING about all the high-end designer stores like CoCo Chanel and YSL that I would be to scared to even breathe in but would definitely live out my fantasy of what it’s like to be Beyonce in. (again it’s the aesthetics.) Lastly, and probably most importantly I can’t forget about DISNEYLAND PARIS…I love Disney and have only been the the one in Orlando, Fl. I’m so curious to see what all the similarities and differences are between the parks!
There are many places I want to visit majority of them being over on the other side of the world but England and Paris are without a doubt my top two places that if I could get on a plane right this second I would want to visit. Have you been to either of these places? Do you live in either of these places? Where is your dream travel destination, leave me a comment below! I hope you enjoyed! Thank you for stopping by, Until next time…
Be Nice. Be Good.
