Utama Spice Review

Hey Guys! Hope you’re all well. If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, i’m sure you know by now how much I love skincare and body care products. So when the brand Utama Spice reached out to me and said they’d like to work together, I jumped on it. Utama Spice is a body care brand that uses all natural ingredients and essential oils. I selected three products to test out and I’ve been putting them to the test for the past month or so, and really forming my official opinion on the products. So without further ado, let’s jump into it.

Utama Spice Review

Utama Spice

Natural Face Serum 14.99 USD

You guys know how I feel about my serum’s, if it’s going to keep me looking like an 18 year old then I’ll slather it all over (even though I’m only 24 lol.) When I saw they had a serum I knew I had to try it. It comes in a nice dark glass bottle to protect the potency of the oils in the product which I really liked. I also really liked that it in a dropper style packaging, so you can really customize how much product is dispersed. There are minimal ingredients in all of Utama Spice products which I really like, because it’s always nice to understand what time putting on my face. This product includes argon oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and cocoa butter making it SUPER hydrating.

This serum is to heavy for me to use on it’s own. My skin has over the past year turned more combination then dry, and the combination of all those heavy oils is just too much for me. The way I like to use this product, is by taking a light weight moisturizer and adding 1-2 small drops at night time. With all the highly moisturizing oils that this product contains, I would not recommend using this during the day. If you have really dry skin apply this by itself or if your skin is like mine, mix in a few drops at night and really allow it to sink into the skin.

Utama Spice Face Serum

Temu-Temu Face Mask 9.99 USD

The face mask is my favorite product that I received from them. That being said, it can be a bit challenging to use because it’s a loose powder that you mix with water. I really like that they fill the package up all the way because you’re getting a good value for your money, but I wish there was some type of sifter to make it a little less messy. While the packaging isn’t my favorite, I do love getting to feel like a mixologist and mix up the face mask myself. It allows you to really control the consistency of the mask, depending on how thick or thin you want this mask to apply. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this face mask because again it had minimal ingredients but, I don’t think I’ve ever had a face mask leave my face as soft as this one.

Utama Spice Face Mask

Lavender Body Butter 12.99 USD

When I picked this product, I had the intentions of only using it in specific area’s opposed to my whole body. I use this product on my wrists and feet before I go to sleep. One of my favorite things to do before bed is Yoga With Adriene’s 20 minute bedtime yoga practice which you can read more about in my Favorite Yoga Videos. This product has become a staple to the portion of the video where you’re giving yourself a foot massage. The scent of lavender on my pressure points really helps calms my nervous system, so that I can get a restful nights sleep.

Utama Spice Body Butter

Overall, I enjoyed the products that I received from Utama Spice. I do see myself continuing to use them, and enjoy them while using them. However, for reasons like the serum being to heavy on its own and the face mask being messy in less then ideal packaging I do not see myself repurchasing these products. I do want to make it known though that, everyone is different when it comes to skin and body care so, if you are looking for natural products with minimal ingredients that don’t cost an arm and a leg I would recommend checking out Utama Spice and seeing if they have anything that catches your eye. They have a large range of products from bug spray to room diffusers.

Which of these products sounds like something you’d enjoy? Do you plan on checking out Utame Spice? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by, until next time…

Be Nice. Be Good.

  1. The packaging for all of the products look so pretty! I haven’t heard of this brand before, I have quite oily skin so I’m not sure as well if the face serum would be a bit much for my skin too. The body butter sounds lovely and calming though ❤️

  3. I’ve never heard of this brand before, so thanks for introducing it, Mich! I love that you use the lavender body butter to massage your feet during yoga, that is a fantastic idea! I know the Yoga With Adriene video you are referring to, it’s super relaxing and I imagine the addition of lavender makes it so blissful and calming. Yay for getting a restful nights sleep 🙂 The packaging is so nice and pretty, and I love that they use all natural ingredients too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts lovely, great review <3 xx

  4. I love skin care reviews! I’m always ready to try new products when I find someone with a skin type match. I have combination/oily skin so I think the only thing I’d really want to try is the mask, I love feeling rejuvenated after an at home facial tehe. I’m not familiar with this brand but the packaging alone looks like top quality and the pricing seems pretty decent. Great review hun! 💕
