Hello! Welcome Back! Life has been really overwhelming lately, not necessarily in a bad way but more so I haven’t had a moment to rest. With that lack of rest came a lack of creativity. I didn’t want to not provide a post for you guys this week so I figured this would be the perfect time to do a tag I’ve wanted to do for the past year, The Disney Tag! You guys all really seemed to enjoy my Vogue 73 Questions Tag post, so I figured I’d do another tag post today.
Disney has been one of my favorite things since I was a young girl. The princesses, the music, the feeling behind it, the parks..everything. When I saw The Disney Tag I knew I had to do it. I found it one day when I was just scrolling the internet and am just now getting around to it. If you love Disney try doing this tag yourself! Grab your Mickey ears and let’s get started!
1. Your favorite Disney princess?
ARIEL. That stubborn red headed mermaid captured my heart long ago. If Ariel is on it, I probably already own it or I’m going to.
2. Your favorite Disney prince?
Eugene aka Flynn Rider is the best Disney prince. You can’t tell me you haven’t had at least a little crush on him. He’s cute, witty and charming.
3. Your favorite Disney couple?
Going off the back of my last answer the best couple is Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Ariel and Eric are a close second for obvious reasons but they take a back seat to these two love birds.
4. Least favorite Disney princess?
Snow White is my least favorite, I’m sorry if I offend anyone with this but I can’t stand her.
5. Least favorite Disney prince?
Oh definitely Prince Hans from Frozen, he played Anna like she was a game of monopoly! He was insecure about how his family made him feel small and he decided to do it to someone else. Which if you ask me, makes him as much of a jerk as his brothers.
6. Least favorite couple?
I’m going to say Sleeping Beauty and Prince Philip just because I haven’t seen Sleeping Beauty. I know that probably makes me a fake Disney fan but for some reason I never saw it when I was younger, and I’m not sure if it’s available to be purchased since Disney locks up their movies like their classified information.
7. Favorite dress/outfit?
Belle’s yellow gown
8. Least favorite dress/outfit?
Probably Merida from Brave
9. A princess who inspires you?
Moana really inspires me, the mission she went on wasn’t only for her own self discovery, it was also to save the people of her island since they were running out of resources. she knew she had to be a leader and in order to provide for & save her island she needed to go on the mission she did.
10. Worst decision done by a princess?
I know she’s my favorite princess but Ariel signing her life over to Ursula was such a stupid thing too do. If she’s powerful enough to take your voice, obviously she’s powerful enough to interfere with the conditions she created. They don’t call her the sea witch for no reason!
11. A villain you feel was justified in their treatment of [the] princess/prince?
I need to keep this answer short because I could write a 500 page novel on how Scar deserved his treatment. He murdered his brother, manipulated his nephew into thinking it was his fault and then destroyed the kingdom. As if that’s not enough, he then tried to kill his nephew so he could remain King. Greed gets you no where children.
12. A princess you would like to trade places with?
I mean are we surprised I’m saying Ariel? She can go from being a mermaid to being a human whenever she wants.
13. A princess whose life you would hate to have?
I would hate to have Cinderellas life. No one deserves to be treated the way her step mother and step sisters treated her. They had absolutely no respect for her and it’s so annoying seeing just how entitled the whole household besides Cinderella is.
14. A princess you think is a bad role model for young girls?
I don’t think any one princess is a bad role model, I think they all can portray a bad message of a woman needing a man to save her and that her life doesn’t start until she’s married to this rich man. Which isn’t true, however Disney is getting much better at steering away from that narrative. Films like Frozen, Moana are all good examples of them getting away from the typical storyline Disney use to follow.
15. Favorite tiara?
16. Favorite song sung by a princess? (can include duets)
Oh, I see the light by Rapunzel and Eugene is the best duet in Disney history.
17. Least favorite song sung by a princess? (can include duets)
I swear I’m really not trying to hate on Snow White but, probably any song by her.
18. The princess with whom you would be best friends?
Hm, tough one..Probably Belle. Simply because I like to keep to myself the same way she does.
19. The princess with whom you would be frenemies?
None of them, I think the whole frenemies concept is silly. If you don’t like someone don’t associate with them.
20. The princess you would openly hate and be enemies with?
Again, none of them. I don’t dislike any of them that much to say I hate them.
21. The princess you would dress as for a Halloween/costume party?
Belle, who wouldn’t want to wear that gorgeous yellow gown
22. List three admirable qualities about the princess you named on question number #4
1. cleanliness 2. compass for animals 3. love for her dwarfs
23. A princess you feel didn’t deserve her happy ending?
Honestly I think they all deserve it, they all go through things that make them grow as young woman.
24. The happy ending you feel didn’t make sense/was too easy?
They all have their difficulties but, I guess probably Jasmine’s was easy. All Aladdin really had to do was put Jafar in a lamp and smash the timer Jasmine was in. She got her happy ending in the span of a couple hours.
25. Favorite sidekick?
Flounder and Sebastian
26. Most interesting story?
I think Elsa has a very interesting story. It really shows the importance of family but how even in your family you can feel alone and misunderstood. I loved that they made Elsa the first princess whose true love wasn’t a man, it was her best friend, her sister.
27. Best singing voice?
Rapunzel had the best singing voice, she was played by Mandy Moore so that’s a given!
28. The moment you found exciting?
I think the lantern scene from Tangled is really exciting. I personally think it’s one of the most captivating scenes Disney has ever created.
29. If you were a Disney princess, what would your story be?
I genuinely have no clue, probably similar to Belle in small ways. It’d take place in London and i’d have to sneak off each day to be a blogger or a baker, because those aren’t jobs for princesses to be focusing on. I’d meet a cute boy who’d have no clue I was a princess. Of course we’d fall in love and after trials and tribulations my parents would see the happiness I’m experiencing and help i’m providing to the world and me & my newly crowned prince would live happily ever after. Tell me your princess story in the comments!
30. What do you want to see from the next Disney princess?
I think it would be amazing for the LGBT+ community to be represented in a Disney movie or Disney princess, or a princess who is more of a tomboy rather them your typical girly girl princess. While I have yet to be disappointed with the Live Action remakes of Disney Classics, I would love to see them take a break and develop a new princess.
Well! There you have it! My Disney Tag! Are you a fan of Disney? Be sure to let me know your favorite Disney movie in the comments below so I can have a list of what to watch in my next Disney marathon! Thanks for stopping by, until next time…
Be Nice. Be Good.
