12 Days of Blogmas; Day 6: Holiday Gift Guide

Hey guys! Hope you’re doing well! With Christmas a little under 10 days away, I think it’s about time I provide you with a gift guide. No matter if you’re buying for men, woman or kids I’m sure you’ll be able to find the perfect gift. Every product I mentioned is going to be linked, and if you purchase through my link I will earn a small commission. That being said, I would only recommend things I fully stand behind and would actually buy for my loved one.

Gifts for Kids

I have a couple little ones in my life and they can be a little challenging to buy for. Unless you’re with them everyday it can be tough to know what level they are at. Are they mature for their age and can play with older kids toys? Or do they still have some developing to do? A great gift for the young ones in your life are things like lego’s, building blocks and books.

All three of these things can help them in their creative development by allowing them to explore their creativity. Another great gift that the parents of the little one will appreciate is a white noise night light. Most kids have a tough time falling asleep to complete darkness & complete silence, a gift like this could help make the transition of sleeping in their own room easier.

Lastly, no kid can have enough clothing. Always make sure with the parents on the style or price range they feel comfortable with their child wearing. You never want to overstep on what the parent wants for their child, but if they are okay with you splurging Christmas is the best time to do so.

Christmas Gift

Gifts For Woman

As we get older buying gifts for our friends and sisters can become more challenging. We all adapt to this thought process of “If I need/want something I’ll just buy it myself. I work for a living.” There is a nice feeling of freedom in that thought process but also it’s nice to have loved ones buy you things. One gift that I strongly recommend is a back massager. I just recently bought this for myself and have been using it every night for about 20 minutes.

It seems that everyone is always on the run these days so, audiobooks are a great gift. Whether you get it through an app or actual disc’s you play in your car this gives someone the opportunity to follow along with a great book even if they don’t have time to sit down and read.

Finally, no woman can have enough hair tools. Okay well, we can but I don’t know any woman who would turn down NEW hair tools. Something like a mermaid waver would make a great gift. It’s maybe not something they could justify buying for themselves but, it’s something they’ve wanted to try for a while. It’ll be a great tool to accompany them into the New Year where we all get a little more adventurous with our hair.

Gifts For Men

Honestly, this is the hardest section for me to write because the men in my life are so gosh darn difficult to buy for. My dad literally won’t ask for anything but will have an Amazon package delivered each day. That being said, I think I came up with some good gift ideas for the men in your life.

Beards now a days are all the rage and men are starting to become more interested in styling their hair or beards. Getting a beard grooming kit is a great gift for someone just starting to grow out their beard. I don’t know about you but I think there is a very fine line between looking on trend with a beard and looking like you haven’t showered in a month with a beard.

Another great gift for the men in your life is a new pair of slippers. I know for me, my dad and brother wear their slippers way past their useful life. Our golden retriever loves to play with their slippers so they have certainly seen better days. With winter literally right around the corner, slippers will be a great addition to their star-wars binging party.

Put it Under the Tree

  1. Oh my gosh I find it the most difficult to shop for kids! Sometimes it’s like are they mature enough for this gift? Are they too young? Or would their parents feel okay with their child playing with this gift or are they more strict? It’s the worst to buy a gift that parents don’t feel too happy about. Lol.
Then, men come in second as far as difficulty to shop for. My other half is a huge gamer so I created a gift guide for gamers and that really helped me as far as purchasing his Christmas gifts.
Thanks for sharing your gift guide doll!!
